How to chemically destroy RAM memory sticks and SSD flash memory chips beyond repair?

Which substance would dissolve/destroy a RAM / flash memory chip within seconds of contact?

I want to make a rig where all computer memory chips would be chemically destroyed (as fast as possible) - as a data security measure. This happens automatically inside a metal box. The trigger has to be mechanical in case of power failure at the time when this is supposed to happen.

I considered other options but they all require electricity or large springs (crushing). I figured pouring chemicals into the box would be simpler.

Any ideas are welcome

Hahaha this has to be the funniest question I have read today. I agree though HCL is probably your best bet. A supermagnet would be a good bet too. (With some sort of magnetic shielding that would remove when needed)

You are one fucked up little terrorist asshole!! I KEEP TELLING THE FEDS YOU ARE REAL.. and they dont believe me!! THIS IS LIKE A BOMB YOUR MAKING!

Unless you have some very special RAM/Flash memory, it is made of doped silicon.
HCl will not touch that.
HF [anhydrous] will, but anhydrous HF is exceptionally nasty stuff; you would be better off getting boiling concentrated sulfuric on you than RT anhydrous HF.

However, either heating the chips red hot [use a thermite charge] or putting them in a very strong electric field will bollix them quite well.
Magnetic fields, static ones, will not touch it.

Crushing them may not do it, since the actual chip is quite small and you might not actually damage it, just the plastic carrier.
