How to check if a phone is a refurb (Blackjack II)

Hello,

I'm trying to find out the codes on how to check if a phone I purchased is new or a refurb model. The phone I have is the blackjack II, I've tried some of the codes I've found on the website but none have really worked. Thanks in advance for any help.:)
 
If you bought the phone directly from AT&T, the description on the item you purchased will indicate whether the item is new or refurbished.
 
Sorry I should have been a bit clearer, I purchased the phone from ebay. It was listed as new. Back when I had sprint I remember there were phones codes you could use to check the phones memory. For example, minutes used, total call time, etc etc.
 
There are no codes (with any provider) that would indicate if a phone is refurbished.

If it was originally refurbished when the person who sold it to you bought it, then under the battery there should be a sticker that says "certified refurb". That's given they purchased it as a refurb.

But considering you got it from ebay and the odds are it has been used at one time or another by someone...it's a refurb anyway.
