I recently bought a refurbished Dell d610. When I bought it the power was full, but it never charged the battery even though it was connected on power. However, I had been using it for 2 weeks, so the power cord is working but just the batter wasnt charging. Now the battery reached 0% and the laptop cannot be turned on anymore. I was reading somewhere that the battery doesnt charge if it is turned on.. Im so confused, I really need to turn it on to retrive some documents I had saved. Is it still possible to power the computer even without a working battery if I put it on power? Please help I really need to turn on this stupid computer.
