How to change the two quick buttons on 6682?

ok i am getting tired of putting my 6682 in my pocket and it logs onto the internet because i tape the button on the right in front of my nokia 6682. its the two quick buttons or whatever you call them on the main screen. the one on the left says gallery and the one on the right says media. is there any way you can change these to go to somewhere else besides the gallery or media? every other phone i had you could but i cant seem to find out how to do it on my 6682. any advice? thanks
 
tough to remember exactly on a v2 but go to settings-phone-and somewhere it should allow you to alter what functions open with the 2 soft keys....could be a sub menu under display as well but I cant remember.
 
ive tried everything. went into every setting and it says nothing about soft keys. usually you can change them easily. maybe somone else with a 6682 could help?
 
I had to dig out ye ol 6682 for this.
Go to Tools>Settings>Phone>Standby Mode
Then you will see 'Left Selection Key' and 'Right selection Key,' just change those to whatever you want. You should try and lock the keypad when you put your phone in your pocket anyways. To lock the keypad push the left softkey then asterisk.
 
Oh, thank you so much. I received my Nokia 6682 today and was just about to have a fit because it seemed that I couldn't change the soft keys.

You gotta love S60.
This is one thing you can't do in the default WinMo5 .
My 6680 : -
Left - Start (SmartSettings)
Right - Call Recorder Pro
Nav :
Left - Clock (for alarm)
Right - Messaging
Up - Y-Browser
Down - can't remember.

How people manage with dumbphones I can't imagine (and wouldn't want to).
