How to change the cursor in photoshop back to normal?

I just opened up photoshop to do a quick edit for a friend, and the cursor is like a crosshair style. It was never like that before, I don't know why its this style now, I hate it as it gives me no information about how big the clone stamp will be. How do I get it back to normal? I want to see the change in size when I press the [ ] keys, I really hate this crosshair style!!! Help please...I've gone to cursors in the preferences menu, it did nothing.
Nevermind I fixed it myself, just when you right click, theres a small right-pointing arrow which brings up a drop down menu with an option to reset all brushes.
And I think that was the prob, first answerer person, I'll be aware of that from now on...thanks
 
the brush you are using is to big......... What size (number) is it in the brush size thing?

hit the [ button untill it becomes smaller and you can see it again
