I am trying to change the bulb of a 2000 Toyota Camry tail light. The car manual instructions make it look really simple; after exposing the assembly, just turn the base counterclockwise to pull out the bulb and its base. I tried twisting that thing until my hands were bruised and bloody, I even tried to use a pair of pliers to twist it, but it will not budge! I don't want the humiliation of taking my car into a repair shop to change a damn light bulb and get laughed at, but it feels like no power on Earth will get that bulb assmbley to turn.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
