I have a 95 chevy with the 350 auto 4l60e. I don't like how it shifts from overdrive to drive constantly. I have 33 inch tires and 373 gear ratio. Is there a way I can change the shift points? I noticed that it shifts different when cold and I like the rpms that it shifts at so is ther away to trick the tranny into thinking that its cold all the time? When cold seems diffrent then just driving in third like I have been doing now and all the time but horrible gas milage like 6mpg cause it runs around 3200rpms for highway speed but 2500 at 55mph which is fine but would like to just shift and go. When its cold it will go into overdrive eventually and thats the way I want it. It seems like all the shift points are diffrent when driving in third compared ot OD. So any help would be great I hope I have explained myself well enough and thanks in advance. ( I cant find a shift contol box cause they apear to have only started that in 96 with the vortec 350s and there is no kickdown cable. these are some of the answers I have recieved before and are not applicable thanks)
