how to change my dodge dart to manual?

i have a 67 dodge dart gt with a slant 6 (plan to upgrade) and a torqueflight 904 automatic on the console (floor).

my guess is get a torqueflight 727 off eBay, rebuild if necessary, and purchase a manual 4-speed setup from Hurst.
