My ibook won't boot past the gray screen. I went into the open firmware and I saw my ibook has the wrong date and time. It has 01/01/1904 for the date. Could the wrong date and time be why it will not boot past the gray screen? Can you change the date and time inside of firmware. I am new to apple I don't know much at all about it.
