how to change clutch on 1987 honda civic?

The clutch is making noise when I depress the clutch pedal fully. It allows the car to shift gears and does not make noise if I do not fully depress the clutch pedal. The car has 130k miles. the Haynes manual calls for the removal of the exhaust system to get at the tranny, which I do not want to do. Anyone done this how long does it take??
 
I don't think you have to remove the exhaust,you just pull your axle's ,your clutch cable ,bell housing bolt and remove the mounts,then drop you tran's down..not that hard maybe two people...
