I tried it with my friends and it was the worst fishing exp i ever had in my life. We lost like 40 rigs. the water current is soo strong in 1 second your rig gets pulled to the left 10 ft plus. We caught 5 tautog which all passed the NJ size which is ridiculous ( i go fishing in MD )
I mean the fish are strong and the current is strong making the fight fun. But 5 fish for 3 friends for like 10 hrs...is not good. and we used sand crabs. And we were not on a boat. We were on the rocks at some NJ inlet.
sooo help on catching these little bastards. Were asian so my friends ate it raw and i tried raw tautog for the first time and it was really good.
