On my old windows XP I used to be able to capture screens from DVDs using Windows Media Player 10. All I had to do was right-click the screen, select dvd features, then click capture image. It seems as if that feature has been removed and I'm no longer able to do it. I've tried pressing prt scrn and that doesn't work, and I've also tried going to tools, clicking options, performance... but when I get that far there is no advance button to click so I cant remove the overlay. Can someone please assist me?

You could always pause the movie and screen cap the entire computer scrren by pressing control and prt screen/ sys rq at the same time, then go into paint or something and press paste, then you can crop the picture and everything to make it the size you want and to get rid of the sides and stuff that the screen capping caught
