how to burn windows movie maker files to DVD's?

this is my first time trying to burn DVD's.
I have Window's XP
and I have this program called Creator Classic?
Everything seemed fine till it said "the parameter is unvalid".
i dont get it..?
should i use another program?
HELP PLEASE! i need to burn some family movies onto these DVDs....
