I want to know if there is something that I can plug into my laptop to enable me to receive wifi from a further distance away. I'm trying to pick up wifi from a friend who lives a few doors down. Im just out of range and rather than him having to upgrade his router, I wanted to check first if there was some kind of device that boosted reception.
