how to block a mobile

i lost my mobile sonyericson T700 and i want to block that mobile.can any one tell me how to block a mobile.

if you have your phone IMEI number then you can report to your carrier about the theft with a police fir report and they can block your calls from sim card. This will not completely block your phone.

If the person who stole your phone tries to switch on the phone with another sim card then the IMEI number can be tracked.

I don't know of any other way.

If u did not take the IMEI number there's nothing u can do =/
