True.. I don't want to get in trouble either!!!
By the way.. It cost 60$ for them to register an ESN number.
I rather pay than to have trouble in my pocket!!!
Well... Anyways thank you...

One last question... Up to now everything I have done...
a) find SPC #
b) write PRL

is legal right?

Yes thats legal cloning esn and such is not. PM i might have someone who can get your esn in the system cheaper ill give you there contact info

--By the way--
Even tho I can dial *611 and connect to metro, when I go manage connections [on the blackberry] and click on Services status, it says [mobile network provider: Sprint PCS]..

is that OK?

Hello do you have this file BB_CKT_WAP_MMS.ipd i've been looking all over the forums and just can't find it. Would really appreciate it if you could tell me what website i can get this file. Thanks in advance.

Hello Guys. I am new to this. I have few BB storms I flashed to cricket wih talk and text. I need some help please on how to get MMS and Wap. Thanks

I have the bb 9530 and i followed all instructions to do the basic flash ##000000... for just text and talk but when i write the prl with qpst it gives me an "nv read only error" i have unlocked the bb with the mep code under simcard, but still this error. when i look in the "status" under options it shows the 1050 prl. when i call 611, *611, *228, *22804, *22806 etc. i get cricket customer service and when i call 611 i can talk to them but i cant call out to a mobile or land line, just a busy signal. i also put in the service books to see if those would help but every where i read thats just for mms and web. i cannot find the commands to write the prl in qxdm 3.9 and can not find qxdm2.08 which all online how to guides are explaining the commands. When i write the prl command from online guides it says the command is obsolete. The last program i used was cdma workshop i could get it to connect to the phone but every time i try to read or write it says some reach error. can some one please help me thanks. Iv been reading for a week and many hours i need to sleep

Why does this all have to be complicated...i downloaded the qxdm and the instructions dont help much...how does one find the spc and the msl and all this other nonsense? is there some set instructions that tell you how to do this properly? im on day 3 of trying to put my phone back on sprint...please is there someone out there that can really help me?

[email protected] is my email thx

I have read all 23 pages of this post and I am having difficulty finding the MSL, so I am using Uni_Cdma and winHex to obtain it from the Spring Blackberry Curve 8530. I have seen SPC memory addresses posted from amoamare for the 8800 and 8830 (page 2) and blackberry 8703e (whom I quoted on this post)
Does anyone know the memory address and length Bytes for a Sprint Blackberry Curve 8530 ?

update:
I called a few flashing stores and one of them told me they would need to send the phone out to get the SPC because it is a 8530. He said that if it was an 8330, he could flash it on the spot. I also went to an remote squad flashing site and chatted with a specialist. He said it would take 2 hours to flash because they would have to wait for the SPC to come back.
So my question is, Is this thread outdated for the newer 8530 or are the steps still the same?
Can I flash my 8530 without knowing the MSL/SPC?

I do not know the MSL/SPC because I bought this phone off of ebay, and I do not have a sprint account but a cricket account.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to compensate using paypal if anyone can help me fully flash this Sprint phone to cricket.

Thank You
