How to: BlackBerry to Cricket 8830 or any other BB

I have been messing around with my Verizon Blackberry Curve 8330 for about a week to get it to cricket. I think i have downloaded every prl out there for it, but i always get that "a serious problem as occurred" and i know in a previous post someone said that it will still work but everytime i try to check it by dialing *611 Verizon wireless is still on there. I am currently using blackberry desktop manager and QPST. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME!

I have done some more research and i noticed that my you cant flash a blackberry to cricket in the Philly/New Jersey area? Can i flash it to anything else, like Metro PCS? or Boost (im not sure if they use sim cards)
 
That is not true I have am HTC Hero on my desk I'm helping another user with from AUBURN NY. and it has a cricket assigned phone number.

But as for the member from NJ. New Jersey, you are in a AWS cricket market.

Also cricket is almost nation wide. Take a look at their coverage map and then look at it next week because it will be changing.
 
Di you figure this out yet ? I'm having the same problem . any body know how to fix this or know what the problem could be ?
 
I have a question about the BB service book thread when you say to program the data settings in the evdo tab would it be the same as when i did my lg voyager or is there different settings for the BB the one I am doing is a BB Storm I searched in the BB section and couldnt find anything definate as far as these settings go.

I need some info if anyone can help me, I purchased a blackberry tour, and got it flashed to cricket, I am having a problem with uploading my pictures to my facebook accoung, IS THERE ANY SUGGESTIONS, OPINIONS OUT THERE?? PLEASE HELP!!!!
 
For everybody trying to get the SPC for Sprint 8330m's try rolling back to the .131 OS release and see if it works for you. Could help on others as well.
 
I could not find the QXDM 2.08 and using the 3.09.19.
When I enter pr_list_wr 0 "C:\1050.prl" got got a message said pr_list_wr - obsolete command as the picture below. Please let me know how to load PRL to this 8703e from Verizon
