How to: BlackBerry to Cricket 8830 or any other BB

so it seems Im the only one that has done all the steps and still cant soft flash a storm. I have done every step on here and then some, and for some reason I get the 611 cricket and *228 cricket, but when trying to make a call, its just a busy signal. Its wierd. I did the prl thing, I called cricket and changed the esn, I changed the Home sid, did the ##000000 and changed the MDN and MIN, blackberry reg id is 2004, and I used cmda workshop to change the prl. I know I have to search the forums, but I read all 19 pages and every now and then it looks like someone has the same problem, but then they figure it out. I havent slept in 31 hours, just reading trying to figure this out, please help. Even through pms, but rather here so someone else that has the problem can fix it. If you think its a certain file, ask and I'll check. I know its something small, I might have changed a setting on one of the ways I was trying to change the prl, remember I tried it 3 different way (programs). Thanks everyone.

I'[m not a blackberry person so I don't know where it is locate but you can try to change the setting voice from voice 13k to EVRC and give that a try. A while back HTC devices in some markets were doing a similar thing and making that change solved the issue. In HTC's it is in the PST menu and you can also access it through QPST.

I read the meid dec number wrong when I gave it to cricket, I called and changed it to the right one, now the soft flash is done, thanks. Sorry to take up space on this 19 page post. have a good day.
