How to: BlackBerry to Cricket 8830 or any other BB

i spent dang near all day yesterday trying to flash this sprint 8703e to cricket.
every time i send the mode reset command, the prl reverts back to spring.
i followed this guide completely. yes i disabled the nam lock and set the reg id to 2004.
going through the pages, i tried manually removing the reg id and setting it back to 2004, using a different prl, renamed the prl, downgraded the os from 4.5 to 4.2, nothing works!

this isn't my first time flashing a blackberry, i've done several 8330's and 8830's with success. this one is just a real pain! any help please... :(

FYI guys, for newer versions of QXDM, use
RequestNVItemWrite sec_code "000000"
nv_write is obsolete, and I was getting "unable to build buffer", so left out the backets.

Trying to figure out why I can't pr_list_wr, or rather what the new command for it is.
 
Hello, I would like some advice on how to flash a storm. I can't install qxdm on my computer. It keeps telling me I need internet explorer 5 or higher although I have 8. Maybe its cuz I am a vista user, idk. Anyways I have qpst but I've read that it won't work and I've also got cdma workshop. Does anyone know if there is a way to flash using cdma workshop.
 
Someone please help me out with this. I have been searching everywhere for this, and cant find anywhere. I am using QXDM 03.09.19, reason being that it recognizes my blackberry 8330 on port 2. I can not get the 2.90 version of Qxdm to recognize my BB. Probably because im on windows7 i guesse, not sure.

From what i hear the write command is different and i cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks.
 
:^/ Since US Cellular is a CDMA carrier just as Cricket is, there shouldn't be any problems. Unlike US Cellular, Cricket allows the customer to use handsets not purchased from Cricket.
 
i have a blackberry 8330 sprint fully flashed to cricket. sms mms web and talk all worked (was fully flashed when i bought it). I updated the software on it now mms and web no longer are on the phone. what can i do to get these working again?
 
You have the same issue I do. When you upgrade the software you lose the Cricket service books that allow MMS and web to work. Until/unless you can get the service books it's not going to work.
 
I updated my service book and now I have web and MMS. only thing is that I CAN NOT Receive the MMS msgs. Its weird because before i updated the service book I would receive the MMS msg just was unable to download the attachment because there was no working web. No MMS msg comes thru at all.

When I look at the options > advanced options > serrvice books > MMS Transport WPTCP
