Hey I'm using 3.11.36 oh I dont know if I just need to restart but now it just says my com# and waiting.... any ideas.. does it make any difference that I'm using 3.11

I think this is a response to my post, which again was: " It shows my Blackberry connecting on port 8 and 9, but they don't connect on QXDM" (using USB-PIN connect)

As advised in the OP, I'm using QXDM 2.08.

Someone out there has to know the answer to this one...

you'll need to figure out your connection problem on your own...that's small potatos and everything else is provided for you

it's not really that hard, just play with it a little

Bozz
You need to open ur Win XP Device Manager & manually chage the RIM ports to COM1 & com2. Then Reboot ur PC>
U should get RIM ports changed to com1 & com2

if you load prl just dial *22807 and check it. If it's not do manually programming ##spc SEND, then mdn and min......

i need help. i have my bb 8130 veriozn plugged in to the computer and is recognized by blackberry desktop manager. i attempt to open qpst and have also tried qxdm to put it in comm port, but no luck. the device is showing up under universal serial bus controllers in device manager. it is also being picked up at the same time under disk drives as "rim blackberry sd usb device." how to do i assign this device a comm port number? do i have the wrong driver? i have flashed samsungs and lg's very easily, but for some reason i cannot get blackberries or motorolas to show up in comm port. please help. this is my first post.

I found that I can only get them to connect when BB Device Manager is open. And if you have it installed right it will create two Comm Ports, not USB Device connections. The higher number port is normally the one to connect to.

i need help flashing a sprint 8330 ive tryed everything to get the prl to stick i have TWO 8330 ive been able to read spc and re write them to 000000 ive tryed everything to get the prl to stick from QXDM 2.08 to qpst to cdma workshop and i cant get metro PRL to stick in phone PLS HELP

U need to do 2 more things before u wrote th eprl :-

1. Chnage the Regn Id to Metro's
2. Set Name Lock to False.

Than try using qxdm 2.08 & it shoudl work.
Stil if u have problem, set Foreign NAM & SID to false.
