I batteled this for a few hours before I re-read Samsung's original post: where he says in the post that Version 2.08 is the best. :)

So Mrcricket23 did you flash it i though i had i once but it only turns out that it roam to a cricket tower i could make calls and everything when roam but i could not ota figuring if i could then it would write the prl but no go in roaming i wish they were easy like verizon blackberry but if they was then it would not be a point i will get it
 
Hummm odd, i thought it did worked fine for a day wrote the 7743 roaming prl was making and receiving calls, phone was brought today, prl changed?? :confused: LOL wtf

Someone on another forum told me that not any PRL can be written to the pearl, those phones he said only 1900mhz prls can be written so i was like wtf how you know which prls are 1900mhz. I dont know how much truth theres to it, but whenever i wrote the 7743 roaming prl and the 1040 it would revert back to sprint or it wounlt just take it at all. I have now a New mexico EVDO PRL on this sprint 8130 and so far is working fine since yesterday morning.
