How to: BlackBerry to Cricket 8830 or any other BB

they can be flashed, but not fully...

i have some that were free, so i like to flash them and sell them as talk/text phones...but i agree that they suck...lol

ok did what you said SAMSUNG and i did not get it work on sprint 8830 and pearl u can change spc and MDN & MIN with no problem with qpst just so it easier to mess with but after a battle with installing hardlock to use uni pst it just failed like all others if you turn these off and back on a checking security pops up and runs and u can't stop there must be another code or somthing to write the prl i hate crapberries

if you can change the spc with qpst do so. so that it easy to work with unipst

I assume you got unipst working. If not get it to work before moving forward as i will not guide you with the process find the how to some where else.

connect with the blacksucky device manager. make sure it said connect and it show you the esn just right below it window.

now open the unipst make sure the connection setting is in the right comport.

click the connect button (it will pull the plug apart this is weird)

the esn will show on the bottom of the Unipst screen.

click on setting(the left hand side)

Click read phone button on the bottom of the screen

Now look over to the right you will see "NAM Lock" the default is "true" change it to "false"

go to the top and change your SID also

Click "write phone" phone will restart just wait untill it come back on, again you will not see it on the phone it just on the bottom of the screen you will see the esn disappear and then appear that how you know it back on.

Now click "PRL" on the left side

choose your PRL to load it to the phone

Click "Start" big *** button and wait till the phone online now this time the phone will restart i mean turn off and on when it back on it take quite a bit to fully on so be patient now that it call 611 and enjoy...... to program the phone just ##spc+send
 
thank for the info samsung yes i did get uni to work i also did change nam lock to false but i when i click wricte it starts and after a minute or so it say failed not offline but i will give it a try when i get some more pearls or 8830s in

it will give you a large bin file, search around 3/4 to the end of the read out of the file. this takes time and its possible you will find a 5 digit code with one digit separated, so keep an eye out. :angel:
 
Thank you eternallysexxxy I will try and post back result i havent got time to play with phone lately thank you for your help. Oh by the way if any of you working on the Samsung ACE I325 look forward to have them It will be post soon but not by me. so keep waiting.
 
Using QXDMA i get obsolete command when sendin command to write PRL, finding SPC was simple, writing PRL is pissing me off :doh: Lol
