How to become better test taker?

Alright here's the deal. I'm currently a sophmore in high school who is taking two honors classes (chemistry and science) and pre-calculus. This semester, I got all A's in all of my classes including these three classes, but apparently, that wasn't good enough for my parents. That is because I got a C+ on my pre-calc final, a B+ on my chem final and a C+ on my science final while getting A's. My parents are worried that I'm not going to do well in top universites because of this. Should I get worried? I also found out my PLAN (practice ACT) tests, which weren't great either: 23-27 out of 32. And I got 155 out of 240 on my PSAT test. I get all A's, but I don't do well on tests, and I have always gotten A's only. What should I do and should I get worried, especially if I'm going to take 5 AP classes next year?

Ok... I am about the same as you but my teachers this year have given me some helpful tips on how to study for your tests. some of them are:
1. Highlighting your notes (and taking notes in the first place of course). Keep your notes organized by subject and chapter/unit. Cornell Notes are pretty helpful.
2. Study with your friends. reading your notes/study guides and the answers to study guides or practice quizzes actually helps you learn the concepts better and quicker.
3. Try looking for practice quizzes and study guides on line from other sources. A really good source is Scirbd.com which actually has some test from actual classes on the website. You will have to create an account, but I think it is worth it.
And don't worry about how you did this year on your PSAT. I only scored about four points higher than you and I am also a sophomore with all A's (and I take two honors classes, and AP class, and academic electives). I hope these help!
