I brought a new Panasonic TM700 and really impressed with it. I was trying to shot few scenes with shallow DOF ( means only object in the front in focus and blur the background), but I could not achieve a proper result. Whenever I tried shooting something, everything is getting focussed ( blue boundary in the case of manual focus) even though the primary subject and background are few feet's apart. Can anybody please explain me the step by step process of how to shoot a subject and blur the background where there is a distance of at least 6 feet between the two?
