I have really heavy irregular periods with severe cramping. I want to go on birth control to help make it a little more regulated. I know my sister did when she was sixteen, but I'm only thirteen. I know my mom put my sister on birth control for the same reason and so my sister wouldn't get pregnant. I don't think my mom will want me on birth control at thirteen. She will think I'm like having sex. How do I ask her?
