me and my partner are having a baby and couldn't be more excited.
We have bought the majority of things such as all the feeding equipment,clothes,books,nappies etc..
we were hoping that the grandparents(my mother in law and her partner) would also be excited and would offer to help with the getting prepared for little one, but they have not offered at all. i don't want to assume help but thought that maybe as first time grandparents that they would understand or remember how expensive things are but also enjoy being grandparents and that people helped them., as they have not even asked how we both are or shown any interest in the growing baby.But also that others have began helping us with clothes etc.. Am in the wrong mindset or how do i approach them in asking for help or why they are not shown any interest mainly for my partner.
