So I'll just give an example that happened today.
Today I was playing cards at church with my friend after service was over just waiting for the majority of our church to come back from retreat ( I couldn't go because I went to Vegas to help out another church there and I live in CA). Anyway, as we were playing my mom points at me and signals me to go to the car and from there I say, "No mom I wanna wait for the people at Horizon (thats the name of the retreat)" but instead all she says is "no you can't there aren't any cars to take you back home". Obviously, I knew this was a lie because there were many parents of the people there that could've taken me.
Next during the car ride home she could tell I was in a bad mood so she asked why. So I told her it was because I wanted to great all of them that were coming back from Horizon. Then she goes on and on about how I should've told her because she would've been able to find me a ride. (WHATTT?) Then I ask her why she said there was no ride before and she said she meant no ride in between so I ask her how in the world was I supposed to know she meant that and then she starts talking about how I should'nt just to conclusions yet it was her fault for no being specific and then later on blaming it on me because she thought I didnt wanna go.
PLEASE HELP! I'm tired of "losing" to not even real arguments. The thing is I took debate class as a freshmen and got 2nd place out of the whole class of sophs, juniors and seniors, so I learned how to argue in that class, my mom on the other hand is asian so sometimes she doesn't understand what I say as I don't speak Korean that well.
