I need an argument against this article's point of view?

We're doing a project at school that we're supposed to care about, and I chose inhumane/child labor,
but I'm coming across good arguments FOR it, and any links, etc, refuting these things would help =/
my brother was just like "What else are the kids gonna do? it gives them something to do,"
and I said "well in the future they won't be able to be scientists, etc."
(i read that somewhere)
and he was like "no, look at america, england, etc. everyone worked all the time, terrible conditions, with child labor. Now look where we are now."
and i was like... "hmm..."
so yeah.
Maybe I should change my argument to like, bettering conditions that big american corporations can offer.
They can pay the people over there $20 an hour and STILL make billions, right?
