prescription to Adderall? I've recently been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, I took medication for both and the anti-depressants made things way worse. My doctor prescribed another type of anti-depressant, but I was too afraid of the side effects I experienced with the previous prescription to take it consistently. I took Klonopin for my anxiety, and that just made me feel like a zombie throughout the school day. I occasionally take it if I'm under stressful conditions. I've used Adderall recreationally about five or six times in the past two years. Whilst on it, I felt alleviated of all depression and anxiety symptoms for days. I know I shouldn't abuse drugs, and I don't. I was just curious as to whether or not it would actually help with my disorders. I understand the drug's manufacturer is not marketing Adderall for the treatment of anxiety or depression, and many doctors won't prescribe their patients a drug that doesn't match up with their symptoms. I'd just like to know how to talk to my doctor about this. Obviously, mentioning my previous experience with the drug is probably going to make her think I'm trying to use her to get high, but it made a world of difference. Really.
