I have always questioned the bible..I never believed what it said and would often get bored in church pondering other questions...I know god exists but the whole beginning of the bible with the creation and blah makes no sense...what about the dinosaurs? What about the other planets and creations? Are they not special? I don't see why humans would be so special...doesn't God care about other creatures? At first I just categorized myself as a Christian because my family is.. But every time religious topics came up..my friends, family, classmates...I couldn't help but argue. They said I'm not a Christian. I then found Deism which made perfect sense! I've been studying it for awhile now and so far I agree with everything. The problem is my friends and parents. They seem to frown upon me. My friend was so shocked at me....because we go to this public...yet mostly christian school...I seriously don't know how to tell them when religion pops up again...any word of advice? Any similar stories? Doesn't matter what religion were talking about just need ideas on how to tell my family in an accepting way..
