My bf and I are planning to marry in 3 months (civil ceremony) and of course moving out.
Now, he hasn't proposed since he's not ready to do so, but he does want to get married..(?). Whatever, the thing is, I told my parents I had plans of moving out with him and they weren't too happy about it, leave alone getting married.. I'm gonna be 24 y.o. in 4 months, my fiance is 28, we both work full time, and I go to college full time as well.
Why would my parents think I'm too young to marry and I'm gonna go wildy crazy, drop school and screw my whole life, when until now, I've been a very quiet person, mature, responsible (I've worked since I was 17 and suppoerted them for a while when they lost their jobs) and not into partying, drinking or anything stupid?
I might be young for them, but please.. I never brought home other guy than him, because I'm sure this is the one. Help?
