I just joined the advanced program (that mean bypassing the first two years) at my university. Of course, this means I'm completely clueless in a lot of areas, and I had virtually no orientation into the program whatsoever and I get yelled at around every corner messing up procedures or even trying to ask about them. Just a few questions:
1. How to deal with NCOs (how to approach, how to address, what to expect out of them)
2. How to deal with officers (big one here, got chewed out massively yesterday for screwing this up, same as above)
3. The ROTC office (pretty much where most of the first two problems go and then some: how to enter, do my business, and leave)
4. Cadets (is there a rank structure, how to address, how to deal with MS Is, IIs, IIIs, and IVs)
Basically anything else that's useful to a new cadet. I'm starting to get the hang of it, and I understand positions such as fall in, attention, parade rest, along with other procedures, but I'm worried that the program might prove to be too stressful to see through. And yes, I know that stress is the name of the game, but I can only take so much of looking like a jackass in front of a bunch of people that can't understand where I'm coming from.
