how to access chat and text in my yahoo mail?

ive been using yahoo mail for long time, why is that my yahoo mail does not have chat and text option in there, how can i have one? i like to have my emails and messenger open one at a time when acessing my mails,
 
you can have chat and mail but you cant use the old style email page
you have to use the new mail page.
if you look at the top right or left you can see a link that will get you to use the new email page. you can have use that permenantly or use the mail classic. i also use the new one.
