How the F do I beat Shao Kahn!!!

Jump kicks are for Motaru...
I guess people have been telling me mostly the unmasked sub zero and freeze and uppercuts... I have been hearing of people taking them 1-6 hours to beat him....

oh yeah, oops

taken from gamefaqs:

It is really not certain whether or not he is easier than he was in
MK2 to defeat. Like Motaro, he is a sucker for combos, though not as much.
You cannot do the wait in the corner tactic from MK2 on him(i.e. wait in
the corner, Kahn charges in, you uppercut) as your recovery time is longer
now. Should Kahn ever miss with his Shadow Knee, he is left perfectly
open for an uppercut. You can also get in a few projectiles before he
starts throwing projectiles back at you. As in MK2, if Kahn ever taunts you
or laughs, pummel him.

It's awesome that they made the game so impossible on live....and I say that with the utmost sarcasm.

It took the fun away. The computer would stand still, and as soon as it computed you making a move would make the move that countered it.....that's no fun.

In MK3 on the Genesis I beat him with Kung Lao. Jump kicks and his special kick move and the hat throws.

I could also beat him with Stryker. . jump kicks and grenades.

I dunno I mean, I had a ritual of going to the arcades every week from Mortal Kombat 2 - Killer Instinct 2 days every Saturday morning. Me and a friend of mine would both deliver our paper routes and ride our bikes to the arcade...it was NOT anywhere near that hard. I mean, many times I was playing other people, but we'd get to the local mini golf/arcade pretty early, get the "Super Saturday" deal of 50 tokens and rock away at just those games. It is most definitely harder on the 360 and does more "cheap computer" moves than the arcade ever did....and the genesis remake was easier than the arcade too.

ive noticed in the arcade umk3....if the computer notices you kicking ass and doing real well, it basically makes the cpu impossible the next round....in other words, they programmed it that way to get your quarters...
