How stupid are the managers at ford, gm and the other one?

dont they see the consumers in india buying economic petrol cars for less than $US3000, dont they see the world is going electric no matter how much they spread propaganda against it? dont they know petrol is expensive now?

do they deserve to be bailed out so they can continue producing over priced crap?

should they start making weapons instead?
 
they most certainly do not deserve it, but the 10 of thousands of employees wouldn't deserve to lose their jobs because of the terrible mistakes made by the managers. in a show of good faith the ford CEO agreed to work for a $1 a year salary, and all of them have sold some of their private jets, but there is certainly more that the head honchos can do to help right the situation
 
not stupid, greedy. not stupid, incompetent. if someone wanted to pay me $50 million to do a job for 18 months and run a company into the ground, i would be stupid NOT to do it.

these people are greedy to the core, have zero managerial competence, no innovation skills, and no ability to forecast trends coming down the road, no pun intended.

they deserve zero bail out. they only want it so their stock prices rally and they can retire as billionaires with their options back in the money. our business cycle has chapter 11 re organizational bankruptcy for a reason. they need to fall down and rebuild the right way, or go away and stop costing taxpayers money for their incompetence.
 
They are very bright men that have just allowed themselves to be corraled by the unions for so long that they became inept as managers with no spines. They became so deluded that they did not see the light at the end of the tunnel as being the locomotive it was and coming directly at them. It's too late for these companies. Let them fail - the free market is resiliant and the job and supplier slack will be picked up by other automakers, albeit foreign.
 
How stupid? It seems the democrats in our Congress in the USA have a whole lot of explaining to do as they are the ones ruining it with there Union Bribes.
 
They don't care. They get their multi million $$$$$ bonuses even if they run the companies into the ground.
It's the American way!
