when filled to the top, "i mean all the way up" Would the glue ever separate from the glass sides? What would it take for something like that to happen? what would happen if u pushed a 26g tank filled with water over a inch or 2.
how would the glue ever separate?

A 26g tank has about 220 pounds of water in... that's a lot of force to push.. I would drain the tank before trying to move it. In situations like this, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

I'd be more concerned about the stand than the tank if you're pushing it. Probably wait until the next time you do a water change and push it over while it's partially drained, more for your safety than anything as it will be heavy. But I've moved my 45g a few times when it was partially drained without an issue, didn't move it very far though.

The glue would only separate if you actively tried by peeling it off or after a long time it may lose its seal and leak a little.

If you thinking about moving a tank take out most of the water then push it. If you do it with a full tank you could crack the tank. Good Luck
