How Soon is Too Soon To Test?

I stopped my birth control abruptbly two and half weeks ago and my partner and I haven't been using protection. I haven't had a period between now and then. I was tested at the gyno's last Thursday and it was negative. When is too soon to test? We have had sex daily and I came off of a regimen of Seasonique over a little under three months. I've been experiencing bloating, mood swings, a lot of mucous, and increased migraines. Should I get a test tomorrow? What is your opinion, experienced mothers? Thanks! <><

It generally takes about three to six months for birth control to fully come out of your system. This doesn't mean that you can not get pregnant though. If you have only been having sex for two and a half weeks without protection there is a chance you are pregnant but you will not be able to find out for at least another two weeks. You just might be having what is called PMS. That happens to women a lot and can give them misgivings about being pregnant or not.
I found out I was pregnant when I was five weeks along. I was really sick and tired. I thought for sure I had the flu so I went to the doctor and they gave me a urine test and it came back positive.
This was two days before my expected period.
I never got it haha. :)
The signs I did notice were that about a week before that my stomach cramped a lot, I kept thinking I was going to start early. But in reality it was the baby implanting into my uterus. My breast ached a lot and were tingly. It hurt to even touch them. Also, another huge key factor was that I all the sudden couldn't eat my most favorite foods, like tomatos, sushi or anything like that. It is called food aversions.
I would tell you to wait a little bit longer. I know the suspense is terrible. LOL.
Good luck! :)
