How soon can one take a pregnancy test?

Yes,I would wait to see if your next due period comes first then take a HPT(first pee in the morning is the best)but you didn't indicate if you are having pregnancy symptoms.So,remember that HPT aren't always accurate either.I was 5 weeks into my pregnancy and all HPT came back negative and even a blood test.It all depends on the level of HCG hormone detection in your system.So,if you are having symptoms,don't panic if it comes back negative.Go see your doctor and get examined at that point.Good luck.
 
you can get pregnancy tests which test up 2 10 days early but the closer to the date of u period the higher the % for the correct result id advise u " wait 14 days or so so the result is accurate and u don't spend to much on tests or to avoid disappointment ETC
 
you are due for your period 2 weeks after you ovulate or 4 weeks after your last menstrual. if your regular. So any time after that is a good time to test if you haven't gotten your period yet
