How soon after a friend mourns the death of a loved one do you (atheist or theist)

bring up the debate of...? ...God's existence for or against?

Considering that the two of you sometimes have that debate or discussion.

When is it just down right tacky and just rude, even though you had discussed it many times before?
For those who think, the next day or as soon as possible. How do spring it on them, how do you avoid getting dropped.
 
When it does come up again, let them bring it up. Plus, I wouldn't "debate" anyone's faith when a loved one dies. That's just wrong. They have to believe in whatever comforts them at this time and that's a very important thing.
