I'm pretty good at writing 2-5 page essays on just about anything, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to organize/structure the body paragraphs of an essay this long.
How should the body paragraphs of an essay that needs to be this long be organized/structured? I know it needs an introduction and conclusion, but should the body paragraphs be like this (each 'dash' mark represents a paragraph):
-1st main point (and a little background information on it)
-Point 1 supporting material
-Point 1 supporting material, etc.
-2nd main point (and a little background information on it)
-Point 2 supporting material
-Point 2 supporting material, etc.
Then just continue in this manner until all my main points are covered fully.
Or should the body paragraphs be structured like this:
-1st main point (and all supporting information for it)
-2nd main point (and all supporting information for it)
Then just continue in this manner until all my main points are covered fully.
Or should the body paragraphs be structured in a completely different way I haven't even thought of yet?
