Senator Obama told Jewish groups one after the other that they can count on him to support Israel - and we all were thankful to him;
but then less than 4 hrs. later, he told the Palestinians that he didn't mean a word of what he had said to the Jews.

Obama was one of 7 Directors of the Woods Fund, a Charity that was supposed to help the poor, but then ended up sending a boatload of money to Rashid Khalidi & wife at the "Arab American Action Network" to pay for anti-Israeli activities.

Obama refused to support the Kyl-Lieberman Resolution that would name the Iranian Nat'l Guard as a terrorist organization. But Obama refused to support it and went one step further by criticizing the Democrats who did support it.

Obama's closest foreign policy advisor is Samatha Power, who advocated the termination of all aid programs to Israel, and redirected
all of the aid to the Palestinians.

Power was with Hillary's Campaign until she called her a "monster".
and she has a long written record of hosility toward Israel. SHE HAS INDICATED SEVERAL TIMES THAT SHE WOULD HAVE A VERY HIGH POSITION IN AN OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. Yipes.

Obama called Rev Wright his "moral compass", his "sounding board", his "confidant" and most of all charitable donations by Obama went to
Rev. Wright. Obama allowed his daughters to sit thru every single sermon he spoke. Wright is chock-full of anti-racial anmus and has the sermons to prove it. He said 9/11 was the consequence for support of Israel, and called Israel an "apartheid state". Obama's other religious mentors in Chicago are Father Pfeger and James Meeks. These two men and also Rev Wright, have and declare the highest praise for Louis Farrakhan, who called Jews "bloodsuckers" and who called Zionism a "gutter religion".

To quote Rev Wright:
"Obama's a politician and he says what he has to say as a politician".

MY QUESTION IS THIS:

If Obama is just a politician who is saying just what he needs to say
as a politician, does that mean Israel and Jews here in America can
trust him TO SUPPORT ISRAEL or NOT TO SUPPORT ISRAEL?

WHICH POLITICIAN IS HE ON THIS PARTICULAR ISSUE? DOES ANYONE KNOW?

I found alot of good information on Senator Obama at:

Okay, first I have to say there is a HUGE difference between being a Zionist and being Jewish. Just like a person can be Christian without being a right wing religious wingnut.

So if we play the "guilt by association" game, then Palin is guilty as well, for actually being present for a sermon where the guest pastor was David Brickner, executive director for Jews for Jesus, who described recent terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity.

"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When [Brickner's son] was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment — you can't miss it."

"Brickner made similar remarks during a sermon to the Marcus Pointe Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida in March 2008, soon after a gunman broke into a seminary in Jerusalem and murdered eight unarmed Jewish teenagers. He said, "We see that desolation, that judgment played out in situations like… last week when a gunman broke into a seminary and shot up and murdered 8 young Jewish boys studying the Torah." The remarks came after Brickner repeatedly quoted Jesus as saying "your house will be left desolate" to those who did not believe he was the Messiah.

Also the moderate Jewish people I know don't particularly like McCain's associations with Reverend Hagee and Pat Buchanan who also think Israel is being "punished" because they won't accept Jesus as the messiah.

I recommend your friends check out the Anti Defamation League whose goal is "To stop the defamation of the Jewish people... to secure justice and fair treatment for all"

http://www.adl.org/Civil_Rights/Campaign_2008.asp

and http://jstreet.org
"J Street is the political arm of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement. J Street was founded to promote meaningful American leadership to end the Arab-Israeli and Palestinian-Israel conflicts peacefully and diplomatically. We support a new direction for American policy in the Middle East and a broad public and policy debate about the U.S. role in the region."

But you know what? The framers of the Constitution specifically forbad imposing any sort of religious test for office in Article VI, when they wrote, "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." So the question SHOULD be who will uphold the Constitution regardless of their personal religious beliefs?

All Politicians just say what people want to hear remember there after your vote.So he his not going to say anything to upset them.

However they want to feel - they will feel that way, it is not up to anyone but them to make their choice.

It really sounds like you do not want Obama as President, then what you need to do is think about McCain. The energy you put towards Obama - the more easier it will be for him to win.

Law of Attraction. What you think about - Will come about.
