how should i teach my child about good manners?

i much confuesed about my child ....he is 4 years old he has alot of good qualities and he has a good behaviour ....but i had heard that when the children go to schools they become rude to their parents and they don't obey them even they do not listen to them is it true?? ....is this happens? bcz il ove my kid so much and i want him to be the best one not only for my self but for all the society .....if he do not respect me what would i do ??give me some tips in advance may be it helpme in future .
