Post some photos here so that you can hear what others think of them. You need the opinons of others.
Is there a photo club at school? That would be a great way to get some additional opinions. If there is not club, ask around to see if there is a teacher who would be willing to sponsor a club that you could start. There are friends you haven't met who share your interest in photography. If you start forming those friendships, you'll share your ideas with others and you'll learn tips and techniques from others that will help you grow as a photographers. As you meet other people your age, you'll be able to go arrange photo safaris - which can easily be done in a backyard.
With friends, or without, think of a theme and then try to find ways to photograph that. Themes can be one word --- Angles, Shadows, Sharp, Dull, Curve, Pointy, Angular, Flat, Bright, Many, Few, Soft, etc, etc.
These are the types of things that train your eyes to look for an opportunity before you ever bring the camera to your face. You must always look before shooting and think how you best want to capture a moment before you press the shutter release.
Go to the library and check out some books on photography.
Ask a guidance counselor about careers in photography.
Try to get on the yearbook committee at school.
Go to Google and type "photographer" and your home town. Look at the work of photographers in your area. Look for an e-mail address for the photographer from their website. Construct a well written e-mail to them telling about your interest and asking how they got started in photography. I'll bet you that most photographers would LOVE to share their story. In a few years, with your parents knowledge and permission, you could start helping a photographer in their studio. Even if you don't want to do portrait work in the future, it helps to get the knowledge that can be learned from volunteering in a professional setting.
Good luck!
