i had a fish from school, it was a misquito fish. i really loved it, i would check on it every day! i just cried for like a half an hour, and i dont know what to do with it. i really dont want to flush it down the toilet because it make not like that. (yes is know it is dead, but i woould not want to be flushed down the toilet when i die). how can i show it i really loved it!?

i have a bay near my house should i put it in their?
bury it?
any suggestions? will it want to be flushed?

people dont laugh at me, it was still a living thing, and i had it for about a month! i think it had a reaction to the new food i gave it just today?
the other bad part is today was graduation day!

Bury it next to your favorite plat or flower so it can help the plant and you will always know where you buried it and it will make your flower grow stronger. that hat i do with my fish so they continue to brighten my day.

First of all it's dead and beyond caring about what happens to it's discarded shell.

Secondly, even when it was alive it didn't spend its days contemplating the hereafter. It doesn't have the processing power for that.

Thirdly I'd suggest burying it in a house plant. This way the fish is part of the circle of life, it breaks down and feeds the plant.

Sure, bring your fish to the bay, say farewell, and have a good cry.

I guess you took care of it really well. Sometimes fish are ill or born with a disease. That's pretty much why fish have a lot of fish spawn, so that some will be healthy, as not all fish will live a long time, some will die very early even if people take care of them really well and feed them regularly, and give them good clear water and watch the temperature. Think of your fish as your first fish, be glad that you got to try raising one. You did a good job, and it is sad that sometimes that is not enough.

I don't think it's silly, I bury all my fish... which is a little worse because I have a lot of them :)

some people might tell you not to put it in the bay because it could make the fish there sick, I don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

I bury my fish in the garden so they fertilise it and make the flowers grow big and pretty.

sorry about your fish :(
