How should i do my hair for the first day of college?

Ive found some really cute hair tutorials on youtube.com. Just look up hair tutorials. Some are really fairly easy.
 
my hair is about shoulder-length and i want it to look hot but something simple...

I would say...Don't go too over the top because it might just look like your trying too hard. Just straighten your hair to the maximum. It will look real good especially if you've got layers and feathers in your hair. Just focus on your accessories and make up...Oh, and Good Luck.
