How should I design my long lounge?

My lounge measures 25' by 14', i want wooden floorboards etc but how should i paint the walls? I'm thinking plain white to make it seem light and airy but not too sure. Also, what colour scheme should I choose? Type of furniture? To make it look nice and modern.

search for the latest lounge design on google, if you like something print it out and ask companies to design similar to it.
 
Create two definite sections. Seating for tv watching, an area with a big comfy chair, table beside it with lamp and a bookcase - reading area/

Since you have a wooden floor, put area rugs to define each section

I would not paint it white, a nice taupe (tea with milk) or something in that colour palette. This will make it much more inviting
