how should i deal with a coworker who complains about me?

I have a coworker who constantly goes to our boss and complains about me. She said i didn't give her enough support, or that i didn't clean up after myself. She even yells at me in front of others. I have asked my boss if the three of us could sit down and talk about it, but the coworker doesn't want to do that. should i just talk to her myself and try and settle this or try something else to figure out why she is complaining?
 
I think the boss needs to strongly insist that meeting because she is creating a hostile environment for you. Make sure that you are actually providing her with sufficient support and keep your work area tidy. If you can go the extra mile, then do so but make sure that she isn't just trying to get out of her responsibilities.
