How should I confess my feelings to my guy friend?

I really, really like my guy friend and I want to be more than friends with him, but I’m just too scared to tell him. I’m not that confident at all. We’re not close friends and I have no idea how he feels about me but I kind of have the impression that he only thinks of me as a friend. Sometimes I try to flirt with him but he’s the straightforward “serious” type of person and he doesn’t return the flirt. So, how should I confess my feelings to my guy friend?
 
I know exactly how you feel. Just go up to him and ask him if he wants to be more than friends. If he says no just say I hope this doesn't affect our friendship because even if we aren't dating I still want to be really good friends.
 
try to know about his personal life.i meant does he have any relationship??if don't then you can somethings like.''what you think about gf/bf relationship''...''what you want in ur dream girl''...i thinks he will also ask you same thing in return...tht time take the advantage ...describe his personality...make him feel you worship love,feelings,family,relationship.never ever kid with him.and don't let him also.
