How should i ask a guy to dance..?

Im going to my school dance without a date (this is my first one without a date) and i was wondering if i should wait for a guy to ask me, or if i should just start dancing with a guy, or if i should ask him first then dance with him. Opinions please.
 
If you just start dancing, it could weird a guy out. But definitely ask a guy! Boys like it when they dont have to do all the asking, like they are stereotypically supposed to do. If your nervous, try asking a guy that is of by himself and not already dancing.
 
i just had mine to , first one without a date. People say that the guys sappost to ask you but 95% of guys want you to make the first move, so if i was you just go and ask the guy to dance . and to do it just ask as if you were the guy , "hey, wanna dance or something"..."I was wondering if you werent already with someone, if you wanted to dance?..."wanna dance with me for this song?!" All of thoughs things will get the guy :) hope i helped!
