How should I ask a guy to dance at the dance on Friday?

hmmm... well does he like you?? do you think he is attracted to you?? if he does, then just go up to him and ask him if he's already going and if he isn't then tell him you would really feel special if he asked you to it!! now, if he's taken, then just act like you were just curious. if he's not, go for it. if he's all like "oh no!! heck no!!" then he's obviously an a** and you deserve someone WAY better then him.

that's how my friend asked her crush out and those two couldn't be happier unless they got married.
 
There is a school dance on Friday and I want to actually dance with someone this time..
So what is a good way to ask a guy to dance wihout looking stupid?
 
Just roll with the flow, But don't worrie, Guys are way more scared of girls, than you are scared of guys.. Let them mess up cuz well.. thats what guys do
 
Actually..this is going to sound dumb..but...act stupid! lol. Guys LOVE it when girls not only come up to them, but come up to them acting all stupid. Its funny as hell. How could they turn that down?!? Its when you try to hard and stutter, and act all like your high or some crap. Juts go up to him and be like "wow you really smell good, can I get closer?" haha When he says yes, go up to him take a sniff, and "slowly" put your arms around him and bring him closer to you. And be like "wow of this song was any slower Id fall asleep" Just keep it funny, but at the same time, keep it cool. Say it all in his ear. The only time you talk in the face when dancing is right when the song is over, then look at him in the eys, and say "I'll dance with you again, if you go get me a drink" haha. I know alot about this cause I get asked to dance in college. That and im a LAX stud, so I guess that kind of helps. Its not that hard to please a guy.
 
You don't want to look stupid while you ask someone to make himself look stupid by dancing around like a faerie? Not cool, dudette!
 
I would say, simply walk up to him and say "would you like to dance with me, <insert his name>? That way he knows you know him by name, well unless you don't. In that case leave name part out. Good luck.
 
dont ask, get close and make eye contact. if the guy has any brains he will know wat you getting at. but u cant act like you need that one guy and that guy only. play it cool and see if u can get he attention.get a smile out of the guy and you have basically done it. just dont make an idiot out of your self doin it.
